Look, I’ll be fully transparent here. As someone who lives in Australia as well as someone who doesn’t follow politics outside of what my favourite podcasts talk about, I really can’t claim to be on any side here.
But in saying that, I can’t ignore such a heavy topic track like this. In the same breath of me being drawn to such tracks as ‘Fuck The Police’ or ‘Fuck Donald Trump’, this one is surely proper sonic fuel for the ever-growing fire that is the ‘ICE’ department, and in saying that, let’s get into what will be undoubtedly the hardest, politically charged song of the year!
This fiery song is created by MC G-Fam Black and produced by Crack Sizzlack, and together they release two minutes and five seconds of pure, unadulterated, and unapologetic bombshells directly targeting the ‘U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’ in the most ruthless way imagined!
Starting with the production, we have Crack taking all caution out the window with this one as we see him throw around those glossy, intricate keys on that repetitive loop, accompanied by those heavy-handed synth chords and bass strings and the most skeletal of drums!
This beat wasn’t designed to be flashy or over-the-top, just right to the point and in your face (to match the lyrical concepts and themes). It’s appropriately theatrical and powerful to try and match the verbal assault that comes with G Fam and his direct message to ICE!
This is less a song and more a declaration of war towards them. It’s him venting his frustrations and anger at the recent events (it seems this one is specifically about that woman who got shot while driving), as at the end, her name is mentioned in a ‘R.I.P.’ post, but undoubtedly this verse comes fuelled by many other actions by the group, and he’s done saying silent on the matter, and he decided now was the time for action.
If you thought he was aggressive and untamed before, well, this is that next-level shit. He’s on a lyrical tyrant with sharp bars, clear-cut and direct messages, and an emotional state so raw and shattered that (to quote Public Enemy) it would take a nation of millions to hold him down.
If there was anyone out there who was going to make this song, it makes sense to be G-Fam. His music is gargantuan as default, add in a cause? And you have an unstoppable wildfire that won’t be put out any time soon with water or ICE.
So, if you’re someone like me, unaffiliated by the events in the US. This is still a dope, representative song inspired by grief and told by fury!
If you are anti-ICE, then of course this will be your hip-hop anthem or 2026! And to the rest of the world, just shut up and enjoy a dope as fuck cut from one of the dopest out! Check the link below!
