Another year gone, another fantastic year to anticipate! After discovering this man around just before the middle of 2025, I can honestly say he’s surprised me with his technique, diversity, and overall strength in the field. Not to mention the fact that he’s both an MC and producer, which makes him more knowledgeable than most, and with this in mind, we are set to see just how he’s thinking of starting the new year (and I can tell you, it’s fucking dope).

This single is brought to us by double threat God Gotti, who once again is on the raps and production! Across this single, we get just over two minutes in what appears to be his more surreal and grittier drop we’ve gotten in a while!

Starting with that skeletal production, he comes through with this cold, heartless, and relentless instrumental that has these haunting piano keys as well as plucked bass strings that come with a super light drum pattern towards the end, and all of these limited layers work amazingly to structure an atmosphere of tension and doom! I wasn’t expecting God to take this route right off the bat, but I’m glad he did!

As far as the rapping goes, he hasn’t sounded better. He brings with him a crisp edge to his voice to complement the production; he’s matching the haunting and guttural sound with his own brash, brutal, and powerful performance that sounds absolutely compelling! 

He goes bar for bar, showcasing exactly why he’s been the one to look out for in recent years, and that energy and drive is presented 10x fold on top of this track!

I loved his confidence-borderline selfish attitude on this beat; he’s telling everyone around him and all his contemporaries that he’s not one to be slept on.  I love his line ‘bitch my name god, I ain’t never asking for forgiveness’ that’s the level of ice-cold bars you can expect across this two-minute track, and it’s one of the best single tracks I’ve heard from him yet!
