Well, this is the first single review I’ll be doing for a man that I had a lot of experience with in 2025. A man who had one of the biggest glow-ups I’ve ever seen! A man who I have no doubt that this year he’s going to kill it as well!
On this track, he’s back with a producer he’s already worked with and provided his undeniably strong chemistry, so as they return, let’s talk about this brand-new single and why it’s a BANGER!
This is the latest single by MC FLYG and Producer Dominican Kev, and together they drop a solid two minutes and 36 seconds of content that is next-level smooth.
I want to start with FLYG; it’s always a spectacle and a half to hear him rap on a verse, and today is no different!
So, on this song, we hear him back on his slow and methodically pleasing vibe (the version of him I like best).
On this song, we hear him open up his ever-expansive bag of one-liners to include lines such as:
– Diddy was on trial for a minute, trying to beat the case/I guess it is what it is, Killa and Mase/Flip a coin to choose your face/like two face.
Or
– Snap my fingers like Thanos/Make you disappear with the Blip/Peace to skip I’m not done emptying this lyrical clip.
Those are just two of many dope lines across this track that continue to prove (even in the new year) that the skill, momentum, and evolution of this man is untouchable, and on top of all that, you add in his smooth flow and rhythm, his precise enunciations, and impeccable wordplay, and you have a recipe for the perfect MC!
To accompany such feats, we have none other than Dominican Kev. A relatively newer producer who has been making waves on my end as a beatmaker with incredible potential, and this song further proves that notion.
Across this song, we have a light, soulful track that’s equal parts brilliant, smooth, and minimal!
We have this predominant vocal loop that runs in two different parts throughout the track, one having the man’s singing and the other having his end of the words loop! Two dope vocal layers that fit this track well!
As well as this, we have these beautiful flute harmonies, glistening keys, and some deep bass that wraps this whole track together into an atmospheric track of epic, smooth proportions!
This is the kind of beat I could listen to for an hour straight and never get sick of! It has just enough content to make it memorable, and the light layers it does have are executed in a masterful and technical manner that proves my optimism towards this man!
Another dope duo track by these men, once again incredible synchronicity, and hopefully, we get more from them in the near future!
