(Quiet Money Equal More Money)

It’s time for yet another new artist discovery! With a record that dropped at the end of January and one that consists of a bunch of different names and faces, and so with that in mind, let’s get into it!

This is the January 2026 record by MC -O.G Proce$$; he’s accompanied by producers

-Tommyhil

-Molly KiLLa

-NinEleven

-rizzoheatup

And MC’s

-Kid Bizarre

-David Quintana

-RealWolfgang

-Sincere Silk

And with this huge roster of beat makers and rappers, we have the blueprints for a record that has plenty of colour and flavour in the atmosphere and execution! Let me explain what I mean!

When we take a deeper dive into the production side of things, we see a score that’s equal parts smooth, soulful, and heavy. Each producer is trying to balance an array of sounds that complement not only O.G and the various features but the overall album as a whole. Not an easy tightrope to grasp, but somehow it all works!

Whether we are talking about tracks like -Cash On Delivery, which sounds like some 1970s Michael Jackson-type shit! It’s got that gorgeously executed soul sounds with those lavish chord progressions, light synth in the background with some methodical drum pattern that sounds like some old-school Phil Collins-type shit! This is the kind of beat that will instantly remove any negative energy inside your body!

We have the track -Legacy Mode, Pt.3, which sounds like some ridiculously cool P-Funk Parliament-type shit! I can’t even lie; I was listening to it dancing in my room, having the time of my life!

From those groovy bass strings, hypnotic drums, and that consistent chord progression in the background, and that dance wave -Corona (The Rhythm Of The Night) type vibes that had me smiling ear to ear, dancing my troubles away!

Even on the song -Cruising Under The Moonlight, sounding like a -NxWorries variant type production that makes you want to go on a joy ride at night, listening to your favourite music, just enjoying life! This is what this reminds me of!

You’ve got that angelic vocal loop, plucked strings with those various synth chords, and mesmerising drum work that raps this whole track up together in a beautifully melodic sonic bow!

I didn’t know what to expect with this album’s sound since I’ve never heard this man’s music prior, but my god, this was an atmosphere I didn’t want to put down for the life of me!

When discussing the MC aspect, we hear a man who tries his best to match the same energy of the production with his own natural and honest voice and soul that he infuses with the music itself! He’s a man you can tell has genuine conviction and passion for his craft based on how his charisma and cadence feel!

He’s a man who shares mini stories about his previous life situations, his trials and tribulations, combined with his introspective views on the world with his special brand of social commentary!

I love how, regardless of which track you choose from first to the last, you’ll get hit with a brand of lyricism that’s insightful, personal, and most of the time thought-provoking. He’s telling his story in small batches across the 23 minutes and utilising the art of hip hop to do so! Sure, at times he might sprinkle in some brash trademark tough guy talk, maybe others some bragging lines as you’ll come to expect in his genre, but 90% of the album, he’s sharing what he feels is important to tell and for the listeners at home to hear, and I think that’s so cool!

Even when he’s collaborating with the various features on this project. It’s fun, the chemistry is tight, and helps elevate the various songs. They actually have their own style and not just a clone of O.G., which I think is the most important aspect of a feature—versatility, and these four men have it in spades!

All in all, a fantastic showing by everyone involved. I found O.G.’s performances, Stella’s, and the production and features banging! Let me know what you think by clicking the link below!
