(BONEWESO “THE VAULT” VOL.1)

It’s no secret to anyone who has been following my website or my IG page how I felt about this man. Every month he drops, he makes the list of the best producer out and even made it multiple times on my ‘Best of the year’ list. He’s a man who has brought a new standard to Hip Hop with a brand-new bar I now compare every other beatmaker to! So with that in mind, let’s get talking about this brand-new project!

This new EP is by BONEWESO representing 23Incredible Industries, and he’s come strong with a solid eight tracks with the artists:

-THEHIDDENCHARACTER

-NYEUSI LOE

-DATKIDBRAVO

-CODENINE

-CHYNA BAEJING

-KALEO JACOBS

-BOOGZ

-HYRO GLYPHX

-067RED

I said this regarding the latest single off the upcoming Nyeusi album, but one thing I’ve noticed in the last few drops (from his Xmas beat tape, to that single, to now this) is how much variety he has. I mean, he did showcase that across 2025, but I feel like I’m seeing a lot more ventures into a wider spectrum of sounds, influences, and styles! It proves to me just how profound and proficient he is as a producer!

His knowledge and ability are forever growing and evolving, and for someone who’s already, in my opinion, the best underground producer going, that’s a scary thing to realise.

Man, so many standout tracks for me, starting with -MOMONEYANDCRIME. This track couldn’t be more fitting for the likes of -DATKID to go OFF on! This song feels like a sonic tribal massacre! You’ve got those haunting chord progressions, what sounds like a distorted guitar strings or vocal harmonies. Either way, truly terrifying! As well as some sadistic/minimal drum patterns and super subtle sticky keys and profound bass!

Or what about the track -BUSTDOWNROLLIE where we see the iconic -CODENINE go off on! On this track, we get a more grand and cinematic experience with those gorgeous Jazz notes that are paired with these funky bass strings and hypnotic drum patterns!

It’s one of the more stripped-back instrumentals but done with impeccable taste! Not to mention the KILLER verse by CODE tearing up the track at every angle!

But in all honesty, if I’m going to play DEVIL’S ADVOCATE and say the one track that gave me complete goosebumps from start to finish, it had to be -ANOTHERDAY featuring -??? This track had me almost in tears at how happy this song made me!

I know that sounds dramatic, but I haven’t heard such a perfect chemistry then I did with BONE X ??? On their ‘HIDDENSPLASH’ project that combined the fusion of Jazz X Acid Rap Splash mix was literally immaculate, and on this track we get more of that same vibe!

In this track, we hear more delightful Jazz horns that have a tad bit more free-lance nature to the loops, accompanied by some more light, soft Jazz drums, subtle bass, and some background piano keys that softly make their presence felt just enough to give the track its angelic nature!

Of course, there should be no question about the performance of ??? Whenever he’s on the cut with BONE, it’s phenomenal, and this track is no different!

Every single MC on this EP rapped their asses off! There was no weak verse to be found. Each song had heavy hitters performing some of their best work in what sounded like friendly competition of each MC trying to win the best verse of the record.

Being the genius that BONE is, he made sure each instrumental was tailor-made to each man. Each song was an extension of the rapper and their specific charisma, personality, and style! From the heavy Jazz for ??? To the more soulful/classic cuts for the finale with 067Red!

As I mentioned above, that sickly dark atmosphere for DATKID or even that more Puerto Rican vibe for an artist of CHYNA’s calibre! A kind of production she would be most comfortable with those scattered keys, enlightened tribal-style vocal harmonies, and atmospheric chord progressions!

Each artist is given their ideal element to work with and that’s the magic that BONE provides! He makes sure that each artist works with their strengths to produce absolute bangers each and every time! There was no weak track across this 8 track EP.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again a million times over the fact that BONE is the Dr Dre of the underground and like wise he makes sure there’s never a weak link in anything he drops and it’s further evident on this project! I couldn’t ask for a better way to kick off the new year for this man!

If you ain’t contributing the $23.23 to listen to this album, then you ain’t about the culture. That’s cheaper the most meals you’ll get on your lunch break. This man (and all the artists involved) have continued to drop some of the most game changing music in the last few years and I feel the least we can do is support the men and woman who continue to maintain the structure and integrity of the underground!

So please, peep blow and buy the EP! Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

(a guide to minerology)

Not only is this a dope concept right off the bat, if I had to describe this artist it would be the literal definition (no pun intended) of ‘A Diamond in the Rough’ because here’s a man who has worked with the who’s who of the underground and still decided to keep it low-key and make more under-the-radar drops and that’s a level of mentality I can’t help but respect.

So with that in mind let’s talk about this!

This is the February 2025 beat tape by producer RAW MINERALS which consists of 19 tracks all named after minerals such as

– Amethyst

– Cadmium

– Diamond

– Aquamarine

– Feldspar

– Emerald

– Rock Crystal

– Garnet

– Jadeite

– Barite

– Zircon

– Valentinite

– Hafnon

– Topaz

– Iridium

– Sapphirine

– Opal

– Ruby

– Gold

Now I’ll tell you now, I didn’t know 80% of these items existed! My base knowledge on this shit is pretty low but it doesn’t change the fact that right out the gate this is a killer concept that’s fun, original and definitely creative! (And that’s before we even discuss the music itself)

Once we get to that aspect, that’s when it really starts to get good! Because what we have presented to us is this lush, ambient daydream that can’t really be expressed with words compared to listening to it yourself and experiencing the rush.

From the opening track we get this smooth, calming sensation of elegantly drawn-out notes, light keys and various pitched chord progressions that come in and out of the track in this angelic lo-fi rhythm that I found to die for, this is some of my favourite sub-genre music and this man is doing a showcase of it!

There are so many beautifully crafted songs on this album such as track 2 where we get a bit more of a lively kick with these plucked strings, rhythmic taps and what sounds like a flute in the background which later is incorporated with some scattered jazz horns and some light bass strings! Each song presents its own mini, isolated worlds of themes and soundscapes that are unique to its own!

Hell, look at track 3 where we get the main presence of rain falling in this ASMR simulation type track with more long-strung chord progressions, various tap sounds, and then some random chords that appear throughout the track as well as some random laughter and human noises to accompany!

Man, this is the kind of track I could easily have a deep night’s sleep to if it was played for a 10-hour loop!

Maybe there’s some sonic connection between the instrumentation layouts and the elements they represent? I’d have no idea, but if it does go that deep, then this man is the Einstein of beat making!

There’s even certain tracks such as track 6, which has this gorgeous jazz blend with hip hop. You’ve got these magnificent horns combined with those subtle drum patterns, plucked strings, and what sounds like sci-fi space lasers mixed between it!

This instrumental sounds like the past and the future all rolled into one song! It’s very entertaining and enticing!

Another song that really stood out to me was track 17. This had another old-school feel to me mixed with some ambient atmosphere! You’ve got those scattered synth sounds in various sounds and waves going off in a freelance, unpredictable pattern that I dug heavily! As well as all that noise, you have some luscious bass strings and some more sci-fi elements that blend into this mesh array of influences and variety that I can’t quite seem to put down!

The last track I want to point out is track -11. This one had me almost tearing up with how beautiful it sounded to me. Again, I’ve always been a sucker for this lo-fi, ASMR-style sounds. It’s what I use to try to fall asleep 90% of the time. The kind of sounds that take me away to a dream world, and this reminded me of that more than any other!

You’ve got that vinyl fuzz sound prominent throughout the track as well as those deeply rooted synth keys that feel far away in the background as well as some bouncy keys in the forefront accompanied by some heavy bass. This is the track to give me goosebumps and I wish there was a 10 hour track version!

I want to open the audiences ears to the level of depth and complexity this man has put into his music, I don’t want to spoil each track I wanted to give you a big glimpse into what this man is capable of and the sonic universe he created using create notion of the various minerals as a bench mark!

Even though this beat tape came out last year, I ask all of my subscribers and fans to check this shit out! I can bet my life on the fact that you ain’t never heard a record like this and you probably won’t again! This shit blew my mind and I bet it will yours!

(GLITCH IN THE MATRIX)

If there’s one producer to be on the lookout for, it’s this man. After I first discovered his music last year on Feature Beats and his own solo shit, he impressed me enough that he’s remained on my ‘must keep an eye out’ list, and with this new offering, I know he’s about to knock the roof off the place! So with that in mind, let’s get into it!

Brand new beat tape by the one and only SOUL LA FLARE! This man is a beast in the studio, creating some of the most captivating music you’ll hear in your life. I still remember the mind-blowing insanity of ‘Rats on Cocaine’ and how ridiculous that was! From there, he seems to be getting stronger and stronger, and this tape proves it!

Across these nine tracks, we have him at his most explosive, experimental, and versatile! He’s presenting us with a sonic platter, each track with its own inspirations, influences, and effects that help flow the whole project together. I hear influences of:

– Glitch

– Soul

– Jazz

– Funk

– Acid Rap

– Boom Bap

– Experimental

– Noise

And it’s not only the substance but the way he utilises all these sounds that’s key! Each song sounds like his own mini digital sandbox that he has full control of, total freedom, and range to try and create whatever he wants to, and in that level of creativity comes genius. He’s pouring his all into these tracks, his heart, mind, and soul, to create the most abstract and conceptual takes on how he perceives the art of music, and that’s what’s drawn him to me from the very start!

He ain’t anyone else but himself, sure, I’ve heard his work on other cats’ projects, but even then, he’s done so bringing HIS own sonic representation to the stage, not trying to copy anyone else’s, and I feel that’s what’s highlighted best across these nine tracks, his own individuality and skills on display for everyone.

While his other project ‘RATS ON COCAINE’ focused on a more brash and over-the-top sonic arrangement, this one expands to more genres and a wider range of influences as he tries his hand at all the lanes possible to him to see what sticks!

It’s not like he’s just trying random shit to see what lands either; these tracks are all masterfully produced and crafted with explicit skill and technique that would make anyone in the culture jealous.

He’s a one-of-a-kind artist, one whose sound is signature. Within the first 10 seconds, I can tell it’s his music. That level of recognition isn’t obvious for everyone (especially with no tag), but to me, he’s proven himself enough over the last year to warrant being memorable, and that’s exactly what this album signifies to me: a MEMORABLE performance!

I normally don’t cover beat tapes, but this one was on my mind ever since I heard it. It’s infectiously atmospheric with a strong presence in each and every track that comes together in a beautifully fluent record! This is one you can’t afford to miss! Go listen below!

(EDOTFLAME)

I can’t even begin to describe how excited this new project alert got me! And then to get a teaser single? That’s enough to get me hyped! Why? Because of the artiste involved!

We are talking about two of the most creative and original talents the culture has to offer, two men I’ve covered in the past and revered their records as some of the best period. With that being said, it’s time to focus on this single as we all stand in anticipation for the full length to drop! Let’s fucking go!

This is the brand new track by MC Nyeusi Loe and powerhouse producer BoneWeso and together they drop a fresh 2 minutes and 27 seconds of fire that only the two of them can create!

If we start with the vocals first, we see Nyeusi showcase his incredible rhythmic performance across this beat, he’s got his trademark free-lance ‘splash’ style where he highlights his unpredictable wordplay and flow that leaves the audience guessing until the very last second.

He’s got a charisma of 20x MC’s that floods the track, you can hear it in his voice, in the way he drops his pen game and his cadence. He knows he’s the shit and he’s here to represent it!

I love how much personality he brings to a 2-minute track, he’s in his element with his track! He’s got an undeniable wavy aura with a sharp pen and impressive vocabulary that leaves his bars a mix bag of anything and everything all at once!

He’s as slick as grass and as deadly as poison across his verse with a smooth chorus to top it all off! If this is a sign of things to come, then consider me even more excited!

Of corpse, he’s only one piece to this puzzle. We’ve also got the one and only BONEWESO on the cut and boy does he BRING IT across this instrumental. I was expecting his usual, god-tier jazz influence but instead he takes us all back and hits up with some soulful brilliance that makes for a track you could listen to for hours and never get sick of!

On this song, we have a variety of layers from those super subtle vocal harmonies, those funky/plucked synth keys combined with these low-key bass strings and funk-inspired drum patterns, as well as the occasional grand vocal melody that appears every 30 seconds or so!

This combination is absolutely ridiculous and refreshing! It’s so laid back and infectious, it showcases a further depth to an already tested portfolio of one of the best producers, period!

I can’t get over how bright and soothing this beat is! So much elegance compacted in a less than 3-minute track. He wants to show us that he can pull off any lane and influence and do it better than your favourite producers, and again, if this is a sign of things to come, then I won’t be able to press play fast enough for the full length!

This shit is the definition of INCREDIBLE! Two of the dopest coming together for quite possibly the strongest single of 2026 already. Go pump this shit below!

(Gunz Knivez Nunchuckz)

First of all, that is one of the dopest names I’ve seen for an album! With that in mind, this is the first 2026 offering by this iconic producer who had a great year last year and now is back to come back correct!

Accompanied by an MC I haven’t had much business with but one I’m excited to see how he fares against such solid production. So with that in mind, let’s talk about it!

This is the brand-new album by powerhouse producer Giallo Point, who comes packed with MC CLEVER1, and together they drop a solid 10-track joint with 28 minutes of absolutely ferocious performances that are sure to light up the culture the minute they press play!

I want to start with the MC; this man had me engaged into his style the very second the record started.

The reason I connected with him was his reminiscence to the hardcore 90’s heavy East Coast shit! I’m talking that Onyx, Wu-Tang type aggression that I fucked with heavily!

He has such a no-nonsense, in-your-face type cadence that is equal parts powerful and compelling! He’s paying homage to the golden era with his traditional flow, his crisp and savage pen game, as well as a cold charisma that makes every word he spills on the beat feel like a brick falling!

He’s brash, unforgiving, and downright sinister on the mic! He isn’t worried about any of that over-the-top experimental shit or having an album with a whole party needed to make it pop; nah, he’s here rocking in by himself, making banger after banger, giving us one of the best under-30 records we’ve seen so far this year!

As far as the production goes, Giallo is nothing if not proven. He’s spent the past few years building rapport with all of your favourite rappers (and even some new ones) to the point where his portfolio speaks for itself, and this record is no different!

On this record (just like the vocal performances), we are treated to a heavy, East Coast 90’s homage instrumentation with minimal layers and devastating instrumentation! This whole album plays like a hood film score come to life where you can feel the energy and emotion in every single string, note, and beat utilised!

For example, we have tracks like -Vizable Ghost Gunz, which has this amazing Mobb Deep feel track with those gorgeous violin strings that run through the whole track, that’s accompanied by those minimal drums and those looped bass strings that are absolutely diabolical in execution! I’d consider this the perfect intro for a project of this magnitude!

Or if you want to look at the track -Special Force Extortion, which has an old-school ‘RZA’ feel to the whole song. You’ve got those looped keys combined with those plucked guitar strings and rock and roll-style drum patterns! This is the kind of atmospheric rhythm that I could listen to for hours without getting sick of!

Even the track -Contract Knife Killing, which has the feel of a 70’s thriller film soundtrack! It’s got those haunting keys in the background, that sharp horn progression, as well as those plucked bass strings that come together with those skeletal drums to make a rather hypnotic track! Not to mention those mean cuts running throughout this track!

Overall, these two have a fantastic chemistry that I hope I can see more of in the future! It’s a powerful record that pays homage to the greatest era of Hip Hop as both pen give some of the strongest performances I’ve heard all year! Go listen to it below!

(Phone Tonez)

Now, this is the vibe I remember him on! In the past week, I’ve gone through two different sides of him (both I enjoyed), but considering this is how I discovered him, it’s good to go back to what I started with! Let’s talk about it!

This is the July 28th 2024 drop by MC & Producer Donny G! For this one, he brings us an EP with five tracks, no features, just him rocking this solo with his own instrumentals. He’s one of the most underrated one-man bands!

So on this tape, we have a few variations of underground boom-bap! On track one, we have this rather hypnotic key progression that has an almost spacy vibe to it that I enjoyed. It’s combined with some heavy bass and minimal drums to give off a funky yet raw exterior! I love how on this track it starts with a fake intro, only for Donny to switch it up and show us what sound he’s really working with!

On track 2, we hear a more conscious/ambient-sounding instrumental with those atmospheric keys that are combined with those re occurring high pitch keys on a separate layer as well as some more devastating drums. Across all the tracks on here, this one sounds the most interesting, sort of like a soundtrack to a classic NES or GameCube game or something. Whatever the inspiration is, I dig it!

On track 3, we have -Weak Sauce, which despite its name is anything but! This is probably one of the more eerier-sounding tracks on the EP, those re occurring eerie chord progressions that make you think you’re in a horror film! On top of that, you have some more raw drums that are more subtle than the others but still have the required effect!

On track 4, we have a surprisingly blend of haunting and smooth! You know those unnerving moments in movies when something creepy is coming but it’s being built up? This is that but for hip-hop.

You have these distorted guitar strings, that’s combined with some heavy key chords and surreal drums! Considering I was listening and writing this at night time, this had me looking over my shoulder! Absolutely nuts

On the final track, we have the continued succession of horror-inspired tracks, more ridiculous distorted organ chords with drums! There are some very subtle and light piano keys in the deep background, but for the most part, this track is taken over by the two heavy-set layers! (I really shouldn’t have listened to this at night.)

As it was on the first full-length LP I heard by this man, he’s back on his hardcore lyricism type shit, which runs across this whole album! He’s got his methodically paced bars with sharp and violent takes with his punch-like flow and a terrifying pen game that matches this production perfectly! Of course, since he’s the one who made them, he made sure the chemistry was on point!

Across the whole tape, he shows no mercy, no signs of stopping while unleashing pure verbal carnage to match the sonic equivalent in the production. He’s ruthless, relentless, and ever so raw and upfront with his violent and unpredictable performances across this EP! He’s showcasing why he doesn’t need anyone but himself to rock a project while also giving the audience downright nightmares!

So, if you’re ready to take a blast in the past, then come check this project out and feel the power!

(Long Daze)

When it comes to new artists, I’ve been reading up on this man more than most. After discovering him last week (as far as his solo shit goes) and seeing him in multiple features, he’s an artist who’s grown on me, and this track only does more to prove that theory forward! Let’s talk about it!

This is the August 2025 single by MC & Producer Donny G! This is a 2-minute and 52-second track that takes Donny on a more introspective path than I’m

used to! Since the last project I covered, it was textbook horrorcore! So this is a new experience for me, one I welcome with open arms!

If we start with the production side of things, this one has a lot more smooth and simultaneously bouncy feel to it than anything on the previous record I reviewed.

On this one, you have those you-these hypnotic jazz horns that loop across the song alongside those light and delicate piano keys and super subtle drum beats that all come together to create a harmonious instrumental that you could honestly listen to for hours and never get sick of it!

On top of this production, we see Donny show us his more personal and truth-bearing side. He’s telling us a story about his past, his experiences, and his life. We hear him describe certain events, certain mindsets, and he discusses in detail his rights, wrongs, and everything in between.

It’s interesting to hear him utilise that more gentle and soul-searching style. Maybe I’m just biased since the last thing I heard him on was something so ‘hardcore’ in nature, but this one is a whole different experience for me and one I must say I fuck with as much as I did the other one!

If anything, this track provides us with evidence of how  diverse of a lyricist he is! How he can pull off both lanes so efficiently and effortlessly! Whenever he wants to shock the world, he’ll go back to his horrorcore ways, when he wants us to feel emotional and more heartfelt, he goes with stuff like this!

He’s comfortable showcasing both sides of himself, and to me, that’s a real plus in his favour!

So, if you’re like me and are familiar with him in his downright brutal style, then this single should be an enlightening and refreshing take that you can’t have been expecting! Dope nonetheless!

(Ya Mom Duke’s Favourite Rapper)

Oh, get the fuck outta here, these two are collaborating? This year’s a wrap. Out of all the duos I was expecting in 2026, this wasn’t one of them! These two were new discoveries for me last year, and they quickly became some of the biggest standouts, and now they join forces to create one of the most deadly albums you’ll hear, period.

This is the brand-new collaboration album between MC Gamblez, Tha Lucky Bastard, and producer Johnny Slash, and mixed and mastered by Gibby Stites, and I can’t even front, this record and the seven tracks it contains are some of the dopest you’ve heard in culture.

From the very second this album is turned out, we hear Gamblez and his trademark aggressive and gritty performance that is equal parts compelling and raw! He’s not the one to play with. The way he plays with the lyricism and pen game is like a thug walking through a dangerous street, knuckle dusters in hand, taking on all competition! This is the sonic equivalent of that, with each word he spits is a different verbal combo!

His flow is an uppercase, his pen game a straight gut shot, his cold charisma a running knee to the jaw, his bars and one-liners the final curb stomp to the back of the head! He’s out here verbally killing these beats one song at a time!

I felt myself slipping into a vivid world of violence and adrenaline listening to this! He can create such intense rushes with his performances that very few can rival; what’s scary most about him is the fact he’s actually a complex and technically capable MC! He just chooses to go the darker path of approaches, which makes him that much more powerful!

Across this tape, he’s accompanied by the illest spitters in the industry, such as -Mo Rukuz, -Skull Bludgeon, -Hanzo Bladez, -The Bad Seed, -King Magnetic, -DJ TMB

And you couldn’t ask for a more brutal team to be accompanied by! I’ve supported all these men before, and each man has their own devastatingly skilled talents that make them a threat in the culture and have phenomenal chemistry with Gamblez!

As far as the beats go, Jonny Slash comes back with his fire that burns everything around him and leaves only the toughest thriving in his world of instrumentals and chaos!

These seven tracks read as a masterful score that is the definition of ‘scorched earth’ in music form as he decides to create an underground soundtrack so deep and heavy that it’s impossible to ignore!

For example, we have tracks like -The Truth, which starts off with a snippet of the classic ‘Tropical Thunder’ as it evolves into this jazz-influenced boom-bap offering that I couldn’t get enough of! You have those hypnotic horns that are looped across the track that’s accompanied by some heavy-set drums and some plucked keys that intricately ride the wave of the instrumentals, especially towards the end! One of the key examples of tracks I found myself returning to per this review write-up!

Another track was the track right before it -Anybody Can Get It. This track had me feeling a certain way! It was the best example of classic meets modern! You had those intense, 90’s East Coast hip-hop vibes with those swaying keys and ridiculous drum beats!

Alongside the defying bass to tie all this together in a modern boom-bap twist!

Not to mention hearing Mo back on the case on the opening verse? Nah, when I heard that, I got goosebumps! He and the rest of the gang absolutely killed it on this track!

And I have to talk about the opener -All I Got, as it was one of the most powerful intro statements I’ve heard in a minute! FUCK THIS HAD ME GOING!

The combination of those synth-style chords that were equal parts glistening and cinematic! You had those swaying separate chords that sounded sci-fi in nature as well as more unforgiving drums and some light vocal choir-style harmonies! This was the PERFECT way to kick the record off that it set the tone for the rest!

I have to re illustrate the fact that this duo is a crime against nature. Two monsters coming together for an unholy union and one you won’t want to ignore! Check it out now!

(ELECTRONIC ART: NOBODY BEATS THE ROGUE)

I’ve said it once, I’ll keep saying it till I die. One of my favourite aspects of what I do is discovering new talent and expanding my knowledge of the culture, so with that in mind let’s get into this brand new album!

This album is by the MC O Dawg and MC -SB and it features various producers such as

-Halal Seeds

-DJ Radiohead (Cuts)

-Wavy Da Ghawd

-Syer

-Grimm Doza

-Campflauge Monk

-AP

-Teamadethis

-Swum

-30 Below

-Showalter

-Work Scorsese

That is quite a list of names, some I’m familiar with others I wasn’t but it doesn’t change the fact they all come together under one united vision of a cohesively run record!

What surprised me about this album is the bright sounds and colour associated with it. I guess in this day and age (especially in the underground) I’m expecting that heavy boom bap influence, dark and gritty production but instead we get high energy & funky instrumentation that leaves you in an uplifting mood!

There’s certain tracks such as -Press Start which has one of the grooviest beats I’ve heard in a minute sounding like something straight from the 80’s, you’ve got those glistening keys, plucked bass strings, rock and roll style drum patterns all coming together for a song to move your body too! Was an awesome experience!

Track 7 -funtimeusa had me smiling ear to ear with the funkiest instrumental ever! It has a light electric tinge to it! You’ve got those dance/techo scattering and fast paced keys that go off at the forefront of the track accompanied by what sounds like looped synth chords which seem to have an echoing effect and some groovy bass to match! Definitely an adrenaline shot to the mind on this one!

I also love the fact the song is left 70% instrumental and it lets that beat just breathe and sink into the mind of the listener!

There’s just so much fucking emphasis on creative and artistic direction on the music side that it truly is in a lane all by itself. No two songs share the same tone, and it makes for a roller coaster of emotions that you’ll want to come back to over and over again.

As far as the MC himself goes, he rode those beats like waves at the ocean in the same fun and sporadic fashion possible! It sounded like he was having the time of his life on these beats with a more joyful delivery than usual, with his own brand of conviction and talent to match!

Hearing him rap on these tracks, he does so with a certain type of introspection that I adored! I’m talking about that fluent flow mixed with a form of freelance delivery that makes him unpredictable! For example, as I explained above, track 7, how he just bounced off and left more than half the track with no vocals!

Or how on track 2 -FBGM, he’ll just start rhythmically singing a chorus that’s inspired and paying homage to the legends! He’s an unorthodox type of MC, one whose originality I fucked with heavily!

He has a strong sense of lyricism, an obvious strong vocabulary, and a great handle on his presentation and pronunciation of his bars! He’s charismatic and proves he doesn’t need a whole party of features to make his album work; he’s more than enough to leave the record exciting and interesting!

Make sure you go check out the adventure that is O Dawg! He’s not the type to disappoint! I guarantee once you’ve heard this album, you’ll be coming back for more!
