This is one of those collaborations that just work. Where all three men bring their own brand of fire to the table to create an overall experience that makes you want to repeat the album over and over again. With that in mind, let’s talk about it!

This is the brand-new album by the combination of MC’s Primo Profit & RLX and production by the one and only MichaelAngelo! Together, they drop a fresh ten tracks, 27 minutes of pure unadulterated heat that blew my mind. I want to start with talking about the production because although this isn’t my first experience with Michael, this record seems to have captured my attention more than most as I hear him bring S+ tier-level beats that you feel throughout your whole body! 

Whether you’re talking about the intro track -100 Years, which has one of the most fascinating beats I’ve heard from him yet. With those wavering chord progressions that feel otherworldly in execution! Makes me feel like I’m floating in water, letting my mind wonder! 

This is accompanied by some light piano keys, plucked bass strings, and an ambient atmosphere that makes this (in my opinion) the perfect introduction to this album!

As the album continues, we have tracks come forth such as the second track in -01841/02128, where that atmospheric vibe continues as we get a combination of these spacey, muffled vocal harmonies in the background, some minimal drum work, and some high-pitch chords that make this another attempt at a different universe-type feel!

UNTIL we get to the second part that is pure boom bap as the beat switches, we get these rough plucked bass, rhythmic drum beats, and some synth in the background that makes this track return to its hard-hitting underground routes! 

Hell, there’s even the track -Infinite Chapters, which takes things to a more melodic and smooth approach with that gorgeous vocal passage at the forefront of the track gliding and taking the song to an angelic level! 

Accompanying this, we have some soothing bass and jazz-level drums that help blossom the song into a more relaxed and natural rhythm! A definite standout on the album!

All across this one, MichaelAngelo is showing us a masterclass in the art of beat-making. He’s been one of the most solid for years now, and somehow he’s further elevated his craft to such an undeniable level that if he isn’t in your top ten, you’re wrong.

When we discuss the MC side of things, and speaking of elevated, we have these two men who have spent the past few years on the top of their respective lanes and now come heavy to provide a duo that is so lethal they’ll cut your head off if you ain’t careful!

From the opening track to the last, they don’t stop to even take a breath. It’s just ongoing verse after verse, savage bar after savage bar. Premium street talk that only these two can pull off vividly and make sound so intense and heavy that you feel you’re sucked into the events mentioned and can see the situation with your own two eyes! 

When a good chemistry in a duo comes around, quite literally nothing is better, and this is some Meth and Red, Mobb Deep, Ghostface, and Raekwon-type synchronicity these two have. They both share similar energy that helps the record remain fluent and entertaining!

They both dominate whenever it’s their turn to rock a mic, and the trust they have in each other to knock it out of the park is evident in the charisma, passion, skill, and dedication across the penmanship and lyricism of this album! They are both on the same wavelength, and they know it! 

And the fact that there are no features? Is the icing on the cake for me. Not to say it would be bad taste or wouldn’t work, I’m sure it would, but it’s just not needed! These two are more than enough to keep you engaged and hooked for the whole 27 minutes! When you hear bar work as good as this, you can’t go wrong!

So, with those comments in mind. Make sure you give this new album a shot! I guarantee you this will be a standout record for the whole year! It’s really that good!
