No lie, I think 23 have unlocked their king of sermons. This man brought a brand-new energy to the already thriving and established brand. One that is unique to his own and one that makes the audience at home stop and think. I’ll explain!
This brand-new album by 23 Incredible Industries, that features production by -BONEWESO and MC work by -WRITEOUS, is setting a new tone and projection for the label alongside the likes of

-CODENINE.
Staple names if you’ve been following the releases in the last two years and the perfect verbal entourage to accompany this thought-provoking album.
I want to unpack the rapping side of the album first because that’s what struck me the hardest. I can’t say I had too much experience with -WRITEOUS up until this point, but now I can see why he was recruited. What I noticed was his ability to turn street poetry into preaching of the highest order.
He sounds like a Furious Styles variant in the way he talks, the power behind his works, the weight he carries with each sentence he drops, and the way he can talk and enlighten the audience at the same time.
It’s not that I haven’t heard the themes or concepts in the past among various other rappers, but this hits different due to his methodical pacing, the care and concentration he puts into his verses. There’s a level of intensity and intelligence behind what he says. He’s simultaneously describing the grit of the streets while trying to provide a path AWAY from the experiences he’s sharing and situations described.
From the start to the finish, and the way he syncs himself with the various spoken snippets scattered throughout the album, it all sounds harmonious. He’s rich with vocabulary, one of the most ill and hard-spoken flows I’ve heard in a while, as well as the combination of a natural, wavy aura that can be felt with each passing song. I loved that we got to hear him alongside the main staple 23 artists and features!
As the audience gets to hear his chemistry and see how he fits, it turns out very well (not that there was ever any doubt), but it’s still solid to see it in practice, the combined verses of -WRITEOUS and the other fellow artists!
For all the attention I give WRITEOUS, which is definitely well deserved, we have to speak on BONEWESO on this one because this is arguably his most diverse and experimental batch of tracks we’ve ever gotten from him yet. This album sounds like no other era I’ve heard from him yet, and that made me pay attention all the more!
So many songs that stand out for being left field to what I’m used to! Starting with -THEGOLDENEAGLE, which consists of these sharp and deep chord progressions, these plucked acoustic strings in the background as well as some heavy bass and minimal drums! This one has an almost tribal feel to it with how powerful the simplicity is! In only a few layers, he’s able to make a hit!
There’s the track -BITETHEHAND, which has this Arabic quality to it that I found pretty interesting! With those looping instrumentation that I can’t exactly pinpoint, like a disorder flute loop? Either way, it reminds me of a foreign film score! That’s combined with some more hypnotic drums and thick bass!
This is the track that has -??? Closing the track off in his iconic savage way!
-BEGYOURPARDON was another track that I found diverse from his usual. This one has a mellow sounding quality to it with some intricate keys going off in that angelic loop that has two different layered tones, one on a louder pitch, the other a more minimal repetitive rhythm!
This is accompanied by some stripped-back drums that have the occasional rock and roll style free-lance solo to help bring up the energy of the pattern!
I do know that Bone has so many beats lined up and so technically he could make albums for any occasion and vibe and one this one he’s deciding to unlock a brand new atmosphere and feel that we haven’t heard from him before to compliment the brand new tier of lyricism that 23 hasn’t had before! So it’s the perfect blend!
