Biography

Dev Rogers is an underground hip-hop producer whose beats run from the toughest boom bap to cerebral, near-lo-fi atmospheres, drawing on jazz, soul, gospel and blues and sequencing records like film scores.

He debuted with MC ZELL on Legal Contraband Vol. 1 in May 2025, and the duo have kept up a relentless run since: the Inner City Blues series, Crystal Lake, Boom Bap World Order Vol. 1, Reality Rap and Elder Talk – King Kai, every one produced by Dev.

Beyond ZELL he has produced for GRVNOLA (First Blood, More Blood), Eminencee (Saturdays), FlyG, Kid Bizarre (also mixing) and No Fa!th, and produced The Serpent Tongue Presents: The Gateway Experience with Sabio Dub. Away from the MPC he paints, taking custom commissions as @devrogersart.
