(Dirty Linens 2)

Ohh shit, what a sequel to be surprised with! The first one is still very fresh in my mind, the rugged nature of it and the natural chemistry between the two MC’s so to hear a sequel so soon is crazy! Let’s not waste any time, let’s talk about it!

This is the brand new album and sequel by MC’s G Fam Black and Kingdom Kome (a match made in the flames of hell). Accompanying them is the savage producer Ruen, and this trio is done playing games and is here to take names! With 14 new tracks and the likes of

-MONEY MOGLY

-P-Ro

-Tali Rodriguez

-Str8 Paper

-Block Forever

-Che Uno

And this project is 43 minutes of absolutely mammoth proportions! Let’s start with that harrowing production because this thing goes absolutely bananas!

We’ve got a range of the most sickening, dark, and twisted instrumentals you could expect to hear on any rap album, period, and of course, these kinds of beats mix with the MC’s perfectly!

Whether you’re talking about the track ‘Cinema Cabaret’, which is literally just haunting, methodical keys, surreal drums, and some light synth chords and minimal cuts in the middle! This is the kind of track you’d expect Hannibal Lecter to be listening to in his cell!

Or did you want to talk about ‘Rust Stains’, which is literally a serial killer score? Again, you’ve got those haunting keys that would make you afraid to go out if you heard this at night! And those skeletal drums that help provide some grotesque texture to the track!

Thankfully, I’m not listening to this album at night; best believe if I was, I’d be playing friends on 24/7 until daytime! This is some real scoundrel, Satanic shit!

If I had to choose a favourite beat, it would have to be ‘Covert Opps’. Why? I love first of all that repeated vocal snippet of that woman threatening you. It does sound familiar, not sure where from though, but definitely adds some cinematic depth to the record!

But no, this record is dope because it starts off with this sci-fi sounding intro to it, which evolves into this ambient heavy track with these sharp synth chords and heavy drums!

Kind of reminds me of G Funk’s murderous older brother! Similar elements but devoid of any emotion or feelings, only pure violence! (Plus not to mention MONEY absolutely killed it!)

This is all to say that Ruen understands the importance and concept of creating the most powerful sonic statement possible, and this is exactly what he’s created!

Now, onto the main MC pair. Once again, they are planning on capturing lightning in a bottle twice (well, more specifically, both men waiting in the dark with empty Hennessy bottles, ready to jump the lighting and force it to their whims!) because that’s how this record sounds.

It’s not luck that brought these two back together; it was pure aggression and skill!

Besides P-Ro and Tali (who are both on this record), I’d say Kingdom has the best chemistry with G that you can ask for!

Both men, as expected, play off each other presently!

You’ve got Kingdom with his slick and devastatingly sharp lyricism and pen game that can manoeuvre like a ninja; you won’t see it coming, and when you do, his lyrics will have you decapitated before you even know what hit you!

He’s confident, enthusiastic, and one of the most outstanding lyricists in the game today!

Let’s compare that to the monster that is G Fam! This man has been terrorising beats with spinebusters and pedigrees for years now! (If you know, you know) and is easily one of the most intimidating forces within the underground today due to his imposing nature and his devastatingly savage vocal tones and the way his lyricists act as sonic earthquakes and tsunamis on the beat!

He’s the type of MC that doesn’t hold any prisoners; if you see him approaching on the track, he’s coming for your head, break your bones, and leave you as dust!

Across this project, we have those names mentioned above who do such a fantastic job at maintaining the album’s high quality and energy to keep up with these two!

Overall, another phenomenal record and sequel by this trio! Definitely can’t be one to ignore! If you do, trust me, you’ll be sorry!

(TOP 75 KILLA)

I swear, 2025 is the year of the remix tracks. I must have covered at least ten tracks already in this category and honestly it’s refreshing! Because I get to hear some of my favourite underground MC’s take on already established beats and that can give me a lot of perspective I never would have had until they did so it’s been a fun time covering those tracks and now we can add one more explosive remix to that list! Let’s talk about it!

This is the brand new single by MC Powerhouse Maze Overlay. A man who has already showcased an incredible discography in 2025 with a handful of feature verses to match! Now today he’s rocking this infamous Nipsey Hussle beat ‘Grinding All My Life’ off his ‘Victory Lap’ record and so we get to hear how one of the strongest in the underground handles this instrumental!

So, right off the bat I think it’s fair to say (R.I.P to Nipsey) that Maze’s rendition is definitely more lyrical in execution. That’s because he doesn’t have a chorus to interrupt the bars like on the original song so that makes for more verse time!

Secondly, when choosing a beat such as this one it’s clear that Maze would have wanted to showcase his most cutthroat, precise and powerful wordplay and lyricism possible and he did that in spades on this single!

I love how he starts the track off saying ‘I got you in your feelings huh?’ Such a badass way to begin the track before he continues to demolish the track!

As usual, he brings his trademark fluent flow with this cold-blooded tier of pen game that slashes through the beat like a hot knife through butter and his swagger is at an all-time high with this track!

This is a non-stop 3 minutes and 4 second lyrical onslaught done over a classic beat. Not only does Overlay remind the haters why he’s one of the best going but also does justice to a song that is in the hearts and minds of many! The definitive win/win situation!

Go and peep this new single now! Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

(Exitos Con Sonido Original)

Now, this is quite the interesting review opportunity. I get to cover a man who makes arguably the most original and wholesome production in the game right now! As someone who has been dropping music since 2013 and now is here with this seven-track project that is getting everyone’s attention, you know I had to cover it too!

This is the brand-new album by Nicaraguan producer Alejandrito Argeñal, who is a man infamous for sampling music from Latin America and Spain to create some of the most organic, refreshing, and culturally reflective instrumentation on the market, and this record is no exception!

This time accompanied by MC’s such as

-Meph Luciano

-Ca$ablanca

-Nowaah The Flood

-Estee Nack

-Shottie

-Al Divino

And backed by this ridiculous roster, we have a record that is beyond just ‘music’ but more a score of lively thoughts and feelings with pure heart being felt in every single song. I can actually feel the love and passion infused in the tracks with those aforementioned cultural influences mixed into it, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Each track includes native instrumentation that you’d expect to hear played by the locals in Spain or Latin America! That home-bred music that is played with love, respect, and affection! I love how there are at least two tracks (tracks 3 & 7) where it’s just instrumental, and you get to hear this man go off with those any MC’s!

What’s most impressive to me about this whole project is the true immersion of authentic sounds and vibrant, uplifting, and elegant use of those samples that is truly unlike any other project I’ve heard this year or any other!

It’s bringing that special and exclusive homemade melodies to the masses in a way only he can do it!

The kind of album I could listen to for months on end and never get sick of it! Absolutely gorgeous execution!

As mentioned above, this album has a short list of powerhouses to accompany this score, and boy do they go OFF!

There’s no real right answer to ‘best verse’ as every man drops absolute fire! This is seven verses of the utmost quality and each man helps evolve the already ridiculous beats!

If I had to think of a favourite verse, after many re-listens it would actually have to be my man Al Divino! I mean he’s always on point regardless but in this track ‘Costeño’ there’s something special about his verse that I found myself going back to more than the others! It’s as if he and the beat just synced as one!

Overall, this record is definitely one of the most rare and beautifully done hip-hop albums you’ll hear all year. From that golden production to the platinum verses! This is one you can’t afford to miss out on!

(Background Check)

Discovering a new artist is always fun! Sometimes I find them naturally, and sometimes the culture and the socials hype up an album so much I’m forced to check it out and give my venomous two cents, and today is one of those days! So let’s talk about it!

This is the debut album by producer DJ Mirage, and he brings with him a huge roster of names such as:

-M-Dot

-Che Noir

-El Camino

-Hus Kingpin

-REKS

-Planet Asia

-Rakaa

-NAHEAVE

-Mark 4ord

-Hazerd

-The Hoodies

-DJ Pone

-Maxime Lemer

-Napoleon Da Legend

-Termanology

-Shawn Caliber

-Nim. K

-Blaze 5th

-Raz Fresco

-Capone

-B-Real

-New Villain

-Fuego Base

-Jae Skeese

-Heem B$F

-NOWAAH The Flood

-Reek Osama

-Big Shug

-Lil Fame

-7xvethegenius

-Oba The Great

-Jae Hussle

-Mado

-T.W.O

-ETO

-Edo.G

-Master Ace

-DJ FLY

This is an absolute HUGE roster to fuck with, and you know the production has to be absolutely FLAWLESS to justify bringing this army of MC’s to your side! Thankfully, it seems DJ Mirage understood the task and played accordingly!

Let’s talk about some of these beats in more detail. We have tracks like ‘Gotham Girls’, which has this eerie, dark knight (Batman) feel to it with these groovy bass lines, haunting piano keys, and a hypnotic drum pattern that leaves this track being one that will stay in the back of your head for months to come!

Also, Hus absolutely nails his verse across this harrowing track!

We have tracks like ‘Imagine’ which provides a more upbeat and brighter track compared to the one that came before, with this funk/rock and roll drum pattern that’s fast-paced and groovy as hell!

More plucked bass lines that hit the soul alongside these smooth guitar strings that all

come together to make a track to move to!

On this track, I’d have to shout out REKS for providing a verse with similar energy and passion as the beat provides! He’s the perfect choice for this song and definitely delivers one of the more memorable bars on the project! (Which is saying a lot)

We also have tracks like ‘Violenconometry’ which is a return to that darker, more morbid vibe. We have these methodically paced keys that creep in a loop in the background! Alongside those, we have some sharp that sound like monster scratches and a heavy fronted drum beat that overwhelms the brain into a fever dream experience! It’s truly a gritty sound and feel!

Who else better to accompany and exercise emphasis on a track of this nature than the legend himself, Napoleon! A man who, given the right circumstances, can breathe life into tracks on a level no one else could hope to do, and he does that exactly on this track! A fantastic verse from the god!

All this to say, that the tracks and beats are not only well crafted but diverse in execution! There’s no doubt a flavour for everyone, and any kind of hip-hop head and done masterfully! 21 different tracks for a sonic platter experience for the audience!

Of course, as far as the MC work is concerned, you can be sure every name on here is delivering what could be considered their best verses yet! I’ve already spoken on a few, but everyone here is dropping flames!

Reek Osama on ‘James Harden’ delivers his trademark brand of gritty, in-your-face cold-blooded bars! Absolutely savage!

New Villain on ‘Second Nature’ over that mysterious and almost supernatural beast of a beat, he pulls off another classic verse with intricate details, sharp lyricism, and vivid imagery that sets himself apart from the rest of the game! (As he always has.)

But besides these names, you can click on any other song out of the 21 and are guaranteed to find gold. Not a single lacklustre performance to be found, and the fact that all these top names are in one sonic room is absolutely ridiculous to begin with, but it all pays off in the end!

If you’re looking for a grand album that features your wet dream of rappers combining together under one album. Well it’s no longer fantasy because DJ Mirage just invented it for you. It‘s stacked, long, and perfect for any occasion! So what are you waiting for? Get into this shit NOW.

(Time Heals All Wounds)

I think it’s safe to say that this producer (whether that be as a beatmaker or MC) has had quite possibly one of the strongest discographies in 2025 with projects such as

– Things I Seen (with Termanology)

– Slaveboats With Seatbelts (with 4ize)

– Funeral For a Dream (with Apollo Brown)

And now we have this. With every new release, the world waits in anticipation to see just how far this man can rise before the year is over, and as things stand, he hasn’t fallen yet! Let’s talk about it!

Brand new album produced by the one and only Bronze Nazareth and MC’d by Salute Da Kidd and features the likes of

– Kurt Solid

– Termanology

– Don Miller

– Kevlaar 7

– Hollywood Dots The Oncelor

– Wuzee

– 38 Spesh

– June Megalodon

– Recognize Ali

– Hnic Pesh

And with this incredible roster backing the two up, this thing goes from ‘album’ to ‘score’ with some of the most cinematic performances I’ve heard in a while!

Across this album, I feel Bronze showcases his most versatile and unique production to date. We hear him utilise influences and elements that most wouldn’t touch! For example, we have the vocal sample off the track ‘Eastside Hustle’ with that 60’s, early 70’s sounding rock/soul sounding voice which gives the track that extra layer of flavour!

Hell, if we peddle back to the intro track ‘Thaw Intro’, we have this jazz-filled thriller-inspired interlude with this mesmerising voice that tells us all a story that ends with ‘I bet you’re wondering how I got here’

I mean even the fucking intros have to be cinematic quality when you’re dealing with Bronze! I got that same vibe when he released the project ‘Slaveboats With Seatbelts’ and now he’s back again to leave us all in awe over his film-like techniques and executions!

I love how he incorporated tracks like ‘The Way We Were’ and how it delivers another interlude with refreshing jazz sounds and a message delivered in self-reflection and honest memories spoken out loud! I absolutely loved this track and the way it was presented!

I love this album seems to balance the atmospheric and down-to-earth aspects in perfect harmony. This album plays as a heartwarming experience for the soul with light instrumentation, soulful/jazz beats with an inviting and friendly aura surrounding the record.

But at the same time, the music itself is masterfully composed, structured, and composed like one of the most powerful pieces of cinema you’ll ever see and played out as one. It’s beautifully crafted and the songs come together to flow strong as a project and also rock as individual songs!

As I said, the perfect balance. With every new release, this man continues to surprise me and this one was even stronger than the rest!

Now, onto the MC work. I personally haven’t heard of Salute until now, but considering who he’s working alongside, that’s proof enough of his worth and skill, and I was right on both accounts; this man is dope as fuck!

Right off the bat, the first quality I noticed in him was his CONVICTION! That’s not a common thing among any artist. Just because you perform doesn’t mean you have the conviction. The people that do have a certain aura and cadence about them just scream ‘passion’ and love for the game in a way not many do.

This man has such an incredible pen game as we hear him combining different aspects of lyricism from deep and personal verses to social commentary to street poetry; he does and says it all in the booth!

His flow is precise and fluent and has a razor sharp edge to it that feels both organic and deadly at the same time!

You can tell he’s a true MC, one who has spent years building and sharpening his craft until he was ready to be the main character in an arc created by Bronze and showcase his abilities on the mic and I can tell you now thanks to this album he’s gonna be on my watch list permanently!

I also love the chemistry he has with the said features above! To be able to have chemistry and lay down a verse solid enough to hang with those guys you have to be a solid rapper and that’s exactly what he was on this album, matched their energy and charisma to a tee and made those tracks some of the more memorable on the album!

This is another home run by Bronze and a fantastic showing by Salute and company! This will definitely be added to my replay list for the foreseeable future as I’m sure will be with yours!

(It’s Five O Clock Somewhere)

I’ve decided to take this time to cover a record that dropped before my website did, but one that I felt shook the culture in a way I’m not many others did that year or this one. In my opinion, it’s his best album of that year and the last that left the biggest influence on me from all his releases since!

This was the 22nd of August 2024 album by Umbrella’s own Mickey Diamond! A sequel to his 2022 ‘No Liquor Before Twelve’ and the second album out of three to come out in 2024, and features the producers such as:

– Mickey Diamond

– Big Ghost Ltd

– Snotty

– Influence Prod

– BEX

– Profound79

– SB11

– 88 Blessed

– Mallory Knox

– Drill Kid Productions

– Ral Duke

And on the MC front, we have Umbrella brother Big Trip, and honestly, this one left the biggest impression on me because of how heavy Mickey dove into the concept of alcoholism and throughout the whole 52 minutes never really escaped the severity of it.

Whether that be the use of skits and intros such as the woman talking about how she hates being judged for drinking by weed/smoke addicts or using such simple magic such as the ‘99 bottles song’ sung before the start of a track.

In the song ‘Drunken Master’, we have that drunk driver who is pulled over by the police. As well as this, throughout the whole record, we get lyrical references and personal details ‘true or otherwise’ of how alcohol has affected his life.

Mickey’s records aren’t normally known for their personal details, so this album felt like a tragic but refreshing dive into the mind and thoughts of Mickey, and that’s probably why this album stood out to me the way it has.

Also, when talking about the production, although there’s a handful of people working on the beats, it all comes together in this soulful, old-school Hip Hop vibe that features luscious instrumentation with larger-than-life sounds and snippets that make you feel like you’re listening to a cinematic documentary.

Some of my favourite tracks include ‘Scrotch Castle’ because A: it has this really sick intro about this guy who’s checking up on Mickey like it’s an intervention call. Again, another example of Mickey diving deeper than he ever has lyrically.

B: I love Big Trip’s verse and brutal adlibs on the track! (If I’m not mistaken, this was my first time hearing Trip.)

C: That smooth instrumental I think about maybe once a week. We have that gorgeous vocal harmony, those plucked strings that go off in that face-lashed towards the end of the loop, is infectious as fuck!

Another song is ‘The Hangover’ purely because it’s the one track by Mallori. It’s no surprise her work (The Ric Flair projects) are my favourite Mickey projects, period. On this album, she brings back that same magic with this stripped-back and minimal beat with short, cut vocal harmonies in a loop with some choir vocals in the background, grand chords, and subtle drums and bass lines!

This is the perfect example of the ‘less is more’ theory, and of course, she has perfect chemistry with Mickey.

I don’t know why I decided to review this after a year, but after re-listening to it, I felt I had to. I felt it was my responsibility to remind those who have forgotten during this down period the chokehold he had on the industry and to take this brief period of silence with a grain of salt.

Once he’s back, he’s taking over!

(Paint The World Black)

As terrible as this might sound. This will be my first time with either of these men! But after seeing so much hype and social attention for this album, I was forced to give it a shot, and I’m fucking glad I did because, without spoiling anything, this shit is DOPE! Let’s talk about it!

This is the brand-new collaboration album between MC Saigon, the MC, and Buckwild, the Producer, and together they drop a fresh 17 tracks with an almost 50-minute run time, and honestly, it doesn’t feel that long at all, the way it just runs so seamlessly!

Featuring the MC’s

-Benny The Butcher

-Ransom

-Mysonne Linen

Let’s start with the production. I love that this record goes back and forth, giving glimpses of theatrics with those intros and intermissions that give the grand production that sounds like a trailer for the latest action movie by Universal! Makes you feel like you’re strapped in for a ride you’ll never forget!

When it comes down to the music itself, though, we get gifted some of the most refined and well-crafted hip-hop beats you could expect in this day and age! It honestly reminded me of the golden early 2000s era with inspirations from

-50 Cent

-Dr Dre

-Mobb Deep

-Jay-Z

The production feels surreal and high quality with captivating chords, groovy strings, and thick drum patterns that feel both nostalgic and fresh at the same time.

If I had to pinpoint my favourite beat on the project, I’d have to say ‘No Witness’ because the beat is actually so fucking groovy and infectious that it’s impossible to deny. One of those tracks you’re forced to move to! It’s got those soul-style vocal harmonies, what sounds like flute loops, and some of the stickiest strings you’ve ever heard in your life! It’s absolutely amazing!

Not to mention Benny’s incredible verse that absolutely destroys the track!

All this to say, Buckwild is a man who obviously has masterful technique and an ear for the quality music that the culture needs right now and utilises the 49 minutes perfectly!

Now onto the MC work. Of course, to pair with a producer of this calibre, you need an equally powerful rapper, and that’s what Saigon represents! He goes absolutely HAM on this one!

Across the 17 tracks, he does everything but take an L. He’s spitting nothing but fast-paced, precise bars with decapitating bars, magma pen game, and ocean-like flow that breezes through the project like a dolphin through the seas!

To be able to maintain the high spirit and energy of a record like this isn’t easy, but he makes it look so! Across the 49 minutes, he spits magnificent verse after magnificent verse with incredible passion and conviction! His no-nonsense tone and his in-your-face attitude make every word feel like a bar of gold! And making sure his value is that and more!

With only three features to speak of and as he openly acknowledges on socials, ‘I only rap with brothers I fuck with,’ you can be sure those guests bring nothing but the best out of each other and Saigon! Three of the illest in the game right now sharpening their own skills and bringing together verses that could easily be ranked among the brightest of the year so far! Absolutely incredible chemistry.

All in all, a fantastic fucking album full of personality, drive, and raw energy that is sure to keep you coming back for more!

(ARCADE)

It’s been a minute since I last reviewed a Penlordz project! If you had asked me a few months ago, I would have been knee-deep into my 10th project within two weeks by the guys! But now they come a lot less, which honestly gives me more time to appreciate them! So let’s talk about it!

Brand new EP by Pen Lordz member Audio Messiah, and it features five tracks and enough swagger to drown a country! Also featuring production by both Phurcat and Gneticz and This is one of the most atmospheric 15 minutes I’ve heard in a minute!

We have that intro track ‘You Lose’, which has a strong video game feel to it (sonically and lyrically), reminding me of a SNES game soundtrack with those bubbling chords and heavy drums! You’ve also got what sounds like a game character cackling in the background like a creature laughing at you after you lose a level!

On the second track ‘Metal Gear’, we have a more serious tone and a more methodical pacing, with the song opening with these intricate keys that form into a more hip-hop-heavy track with some more heavy drums and this deep chord hitting every five seconds, giving a more haunting effect! As the song name suggests, this is definitely more relevant to ‘Metal Gear’ than a classic kids’ game!

On track three, we have what seems to be a return to the more dramatic sounds and animated themes! This beat has these orchestral chords in a sharp repeat loop that makes you feel like you’re listening to the soundtrack of an old-school Godzilla movie!

This track also has hypnotic drum beats and intricate bass! This is definitely a B-side, cheesy action movie score, and I love every second of it!

On track four, we have what very well could be the most surreal track on the whole EP. With that heavy orchestral intro alone, it gives goosebumps! But as the track evolves, we go into this eerie, haunting experience coated with hits of bells and plucked bass strings! This sounds like Batman walking into Dracula’s castle! Dark vibes everywhere, and yet it’s a track I can’t get out of my head!

On the final track, we have a jazz/western vibe track to bring it all together. That intro reminds me of a spaghetti western film by Clint Eastwood that slowly transitions into this funky old-school rock and roll track from the 60s. You’ve got those sticky strings and drums that bang in your brain long after the track is gone!

Definitely the perfect track to end the EP with!

As far as the MC work goes, I mean, it’s Penlordz. They aren’t called that for nothing. They are literally the lords of pen, and they showcase it strongly on this one!

They continue their evolution of charisma and heavy personality by flooding the songs with fun and intense adlibs, sound effects, and off-the-top sounds to bring the aura of the album to a 10! I love the fact that depending on the track, they will change their tone and style up to match the energy of said song!

Since there are five on here, they show five various versions of their techniques, and it’s amazing to witness.

Sharpness in spades, lyricism for days, and such exquisite flow that it puts everyone else to shame!

I also love just how natural they sound on the beats. I mean, at no point did they sound awkward or weird, but after releasing so much quality music, you can hear it in their voices, the level of confidence, the levelling up of their own pen games and wordplay! The fact that they can hop on anyone else’s tracks and kill it with ease!

This EP was absolutely banging! From start to finish. We got a variety of instrumentals and themes and interesting and refreshing verses to match! Penlordz are as strong as they’ve ever been!

(CAMELCLUTCH)

We are finally back with an original track by the man himself! I ain’t saying I haven’t been enjoying the remix tracks (because I have), but at the same time, I was hoping this was all building up to a wave of new, fresh tracks to showcase how much of a beast this man can be and is, and I feel this track is where we see that shine! Let’s talk about it!

Brand new, 2 minutes and 28 seconds by MC Gustavo Louis! This time around, he has producer YFI on the cut, and they are here to deliver another wrestling-themed track, and we gotta start with that production!

On this joint, YFI has these hypnotic chords on a loop that’s combined with some subtle plucked keys and some very light vocal harmonies that appear deep in the background but still give the track some texture!

This beat is smooth and mesmerising to the point that if you’re not careful, this beat can take you away into a realm you can’t wake up from! (Like a camel clutch)

Now onto Gustavo! The man with the endless aura and charisma to give to the whole world (twice over) is back with another captivating long verse that showcases all his best qualities, from the sharp and precise lyricism to the fluent and savvy flow to the personalised and specific pen game that is, of course, focused on the wrestling side of things (based on the title of the track), and just like many times before, he nails the examples, puns, and references that are not just related to the topic at hand but also blend in his own skills and techniques, which is dope to hear!

The chemistry between the MC and producer is great; it’s like one mind on this track. Nothing worse than either a rapper who doesn’t suit the production or a shit producer, and the rapper has to work overtime to make it work; thankfully, neither is the case here, and it all comes together beautifully!

Make sure you give this one a listen! Gustavo is on a roll, and he’s proven he can make any kind of production work!

https://gustavolouis.bandcamp.com/track/camelclutch-ft-yfi

(GUSTAVO KOLOFF)

We have yet another Narcomix. The last handful of releases by this man have been him testing his own against some of the best beats in the industry and letting the fans decide who did it better, and this time he’s back to remix a WESTSIDE GUNN beat in the form of ‘BRIKOLAI VOLKOFF’, and how does he do it, you ask?

Gustavo, AKA Mr. Narcomix himself, comes into this beat SWINGING! He utilises this beat to his advantage, using his natural charisma and unpredictable nature to deliver bars that are not only consistent and even with the flow but also beaming with energy, passion, and his own quirky enthusiasm that is showcased in spades!

One thing I’ve noticed is this smaller, more high-pitched voice that follows him on all the remix tracks he does. I don’t know if that’s him or someone else’s voice, but it’s like he has his own fan following him everywhere!

I love how on this track he does this, such as waiting for those delicate piano keys at the intro to play before he starts to spit his bars! I love how he’s actually playing with the beat inside of or against his own ‘free-lance’ style. Not that I don’t enjoy that side of him, but it makes me feel like he’s trying more seriously to sync with this instrumental than others, which is sick!

I love how he gives himself a mini interlude before continuing with his second verse! He’s really making this track his own, and his colourful persona, driven flow, and pen game are more explosive on this track than others!

Another banger remix by the one and only. I hope WSG is paying attention to these remixes because he’s coming for all the beats!
