The Republic tried to squash his success, but little did they know he had his own companions who helped him terrorise the universe, known as ‘FEED THE FAMILY’. Collectively, they conquered everything they touched, and so this is the story of the infamous

And if we start with the production side of things, we get sounds that are larger than the Death Star and more deadly than Darth Vader! Songs that bring out the soul of the individual listeners like Yoda to Luke! 

Whether we are talking about the beautiful jazz-inspired track -CHOTAS with those magnetic horns in that fantastical loop, accompanied by those light bass strings and what sounds like a simmering vocal harmony in the background in a choir aesthetic!   

There’s the track -HOOTSKYWALKER which has so much funky energy you’ll feel like you’re a premium Jedi using the Force on the storm troopers! This one has this infectious G Funk meets Soul atmosphere with those sharp chord progressions, deep plucked bass, rhythmic drum patterns, and this occasional snippet of vocals that makes this feel like a soundtrack for the Mos Eisley Cantina Galaxy nightclub! 

What about the track -GRADEA which is more subtle in its execution and makes you feel like you’re Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan as they visit the ocean world! This one has those mellow piano keys, sharp synth chords, minimal drums, and on this occasional partial singing vocals from Bori himself in a rare case of vocal harmony from the man! 

Even the opening track -NOTATREND is such a powerful instrumental it makes you feel like your General Grievous as he’s prepared to square up with Master Yoda! It’s menacing with those grand string progressions, bare drum beats and some thick bass that cuts through the air like the swipe of a lightsaber! Not to mention towards the end those haunting piano keys!

This whole album is filled with a variety of different sounds and influences that help tie it together as one of Bori’s most versatile albums to rock on!

As far as the MC work goes. We discuss a man who from just a young man in Tatooine, trained in the art of the ZING in Dagobah to finally landing on the Death Star of the culture ready to kill any unwavey motherfuckers he sees in his path! And does he sound good doing so! 

Across this multilayered production we hear Bori adapt as well! With stronger performances that’s deep rooted in the Force, to more melodic harmonies that show his more emotional and creative side! 

Using his ZINGSABER to go around these adventures beats and knock ‘ em all down with his untouchable Aura so strong even the Siths look unwavey to him! The way can he move around a song with his massive adlibs and colourful and vivid street poetry that lights up any room with explosive wordplay and penmanship!

Not only that, just like Darth Maul’s duel saber we hear Bori with the likes of Divino and WRITEOUS as they deliver equal amounts of verbal damage in the immediate vicinity with tough bars, perfect synchronicity and the type of gritty sound that makes Anakin’s grown-up voice sound tame in comparison! 

I also love he decided to only have two men accompanying him on this journey. It helps flesh out the enigma that is Bori and give us more of a chance to see and hear him go off in the way only he knows how to do!

The legend of the ZINGER will never die. The culture will forever grow and change, many names will come and go but the galaxy will never forget the Grand Master
