It’s time for yet another pair-up between the MC who I am familiar with and the producer who I’m
not. These two are set to halt the culture with their new theatrical album that is going to re define the idea of ‘creativity’, so let’s talk about it!
This is the brand-new album by MC LouieSincere and producer Fat Kneel, and together they drop this heavily-handed eight tracks that immediately feel cinematic the moment you put it on! This one also is accompanied by
-King Author
-DJ Grazzhoppa
And I’m not kidding. As soon as this album hits, it feels grand and film score-worthy. This album kind of sounds like the sonic equivalent of the apocalypse. It’s dark, doom, and eerie. The way Kneel is able to create such an intense atmosphere across the board is something I haven’t heard that much in the game!
Whether we are talking about the various vocal snippets that are placed at the intro or the end of the songs and just mixed between. Even the album cover alludes to that fact with the warning -Tone of this record unsuitable for minors, that is some heavy warning and yet it actually makes sense in this context!
Each song on this project feels unsettling in the best way possible. Kneel is blending the ambiance of ominous destruction and orchestral harmony boom bap. It’s such an intense combination to use and yet he pulled off a soundscape unlike any other. If I had to try and pick my favourite beat across this whole project, it would have to be
-Cash Rules! This one legitimately gave me goosebumps more than the others. With a combined effort of those deep vocal choir-style voices, abrasive chord progressions, light piano keys, and some rhythmic drums that all come together in the most intimate and powerful way possible!
As soon as we get into the MC work, we hear a man who in my opinion is giving his best work! He impressed me in the past when I go back and listen to what I reviewed of his to begin with, but this is a whole new beast!
He’s hungry for that acclaim and crown, and he’s killing everyone in his way to get it. Across this tape, he has strong charisma and a dope flow that somehow matches well to the heavy instrumentation provided by Kneel!
What is obvious to me on this album is his passion and conviction. He genuinely wants to showcase the best of himself and just how much he’s improved since we last heard him. From his cutthroat penmanship, his lively and expressive performances, to his impressive pen game and use of vocabulary, he has everything and more on this one, and he’s letting his street poetry shine by taking a more in-depth approach to his lyricism and spitting on the tracks.
Also, the fact that he spends 90% of this album solo says a lot. It proves two things. A: that when he wants to, he has the ability to work well with others and create genuine chemistry with the ones he brings on and helps elevate the strength of the overall record.
But B: And most importantly, it proves if he has to, he is more than capable of carrying a record by himself. He has the personality and strong character to draw in the audience and keep us engaged from start to finish, and he more than proved that last point here tonight!
I didn’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this. It exceeded all my expectations from the harrowing production to the even more haunting and impressive lyricism! This is one everyone should check out below!
