(Lost Isle)

When it comes to musical fusions, this might be the most compelling discovery yet. Let me run down for you guys the various elements they combine:

– Techno X Psytrance X Trad. Yes, you read that correctly! It’s between two sisters who are here to throw all conventionality out the window and reform everything you know about music, and I want to start with this latest single!

– Lost Isle

This is the brand-new single by the two sisters of the band -Luneris, who play both the harp and the violin, who, of course, incorporate the electronic music alongside them. This track specifically is 6 minutes and 56 of pure atmospheric harmony that is sure to throw you on an adventure I can guarantee you’ve never experienced before!

This song has so many different phases that keep you engaged the entire track long. The start is sounds of waves and a vocal narration that almost reminds me of early 2000s -Nightwish with the lush and slow-paced strings that slowly but surely evolve into this electronic meets strings combination that had me hooked immediately! Two of my favourite genres coming together like this was the unexpected bliss I’ve been looking for my whole life!

I also love how in between each phase the narration brings it forward right before the switch. From the phases of fast-paced techno to more compelling trance infused with that above-mentioned Trad (more Celtic influence), I feel on this one, which, as I’m half Irish, is something I adored heavily!

I have to admire the smoothness of the various phases and parts coming together in a proper synchronous rhythm.

Each part feels like it’s escalated from the ones that came before but not too much to make the song feel out of place but more like a consistent flow throughout the duration of the almost 7-minute track that makes each second feel intense and satisfying!

I really have to shout out these two sisters. I’m always on the hunt for out-there and creatively forward music, and this duo hits the mark on the head in every single aspect.

I’ve already added this into my playlist, and it will remain on repeat for the next foreseeable future, and once they drop an album, you best believe I’ll be there! Link to the track below! Let me know what you think!
