So going back to our original video interview talking about the first album you said you had enough material for two albums and that it was Estee who advised you use half for the first and half for a later sequel. Are these songs all from that same batch or have you added to it, switched around tracks, removed original tracks and added fresh ones?

    The Hidden Character

I kept all songs intact from the same batch only thing I added was track 10 GREENBERET ft FTB BOOGZ which I recorded like a month or 2 ago

  2. The Serpent Tongue

What inspired the name of the album ‘HIDDENSPLASH’ I understand the HIDDEN part is in regards to your rap name but why add SPLASH to it?

    The Hidden Character

Honestly we were just bouncing ideas around for a title “Splash” obviously a term we use to identify our style of “Rap” … so pretty much like yo this is the hidden characters splash

  3. The Serpent Tongue

In regard to this album, what kind of effect were you going for? Were you trying to make this one more memorable & elevated compared to the original or is this to you just a natural progression of the songs left on the table from the previous album? What were you hoping to achieve for this record and did you feel you accomplished what you set out to do?

    The Hidden Character

I mean like any other artist you wanna elevate with every project you put out although, thats always the motive it was more of a natural progression I guess it was just too many songs to make 1 album

  4. The Serpent Tongue

What is your writing process? How do you think of the lyrics and way of rapping like you do! The fluency of it all!

    The Hidden Character

my process is no process honestly I write whenever I feel inspired I could be at home running an errand I draw a lot of inspiration from all my peers other artists producers if I like something enough I try to incorporate it into my style writing etc.

  5. The Serpent Tongue

Since your duo album with CODENINE earlier in the year I’ve noticed he’s been on everything post that record with you as a feature and you on his. Have you noticed a shift or level up in your guys bond since that collaboration album?

    The Hidden Character

I mean CODENINE has been on pretty much all my albums and I’ve been on quite a few of his later albums and of course that’s my brother ! When people find a common ground it’s natural yall grow together

  6. The Serpent Tongue

Are you the one who decides and chooses who you want as features for this album? Or is it a group decision within the 23 camp?

    The Hidden Character

yes i have complete creative control of my drops but if anyone suggests anything within the camp I never really push back especially if it makes sense and aligns with the brand

  7. The Serpent Tongue

Does the song ‘I.S.L.A.M’ stand for anything specific? Or is it just written that way for dramatic effect?

    The Hidden Character

I.S.L.A.M is one of a few acronyms for ISLAM which to me means (I Study LIfe Around Me)

  8. The Serpent Tongue

Since the release of the first one till now, would you say you’ve grown as an Artist? And if so in what areas and how!

    The Hidden Character

absolutely I’m like 15 albums in now in all aspects from writing to curating my own albums performing and there’s still tons of room for more

If you had to describe this album in one word/sentence what would it be!

    SPLASHHHHH !!!

  9. The Serpent Tongue

If you were stuck on an island with access to only two albums from any artist or genre for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

    The Hidden Character

sheesh Id probably have like some sort of classic Jazz album and probably a mix of late 80’s to mid-late 90’s RnB 😂😂😂
