This is the brand new album by MC -Nick Bruno and Producer -Nicholas Craven as they bring together features such as
-227 BalMaine
-Boldy James
-Poppy Bricks
-Idol Kastomoto
-Lethalias Grain
-Double Dee

The one thing Craven does better then anyone else and has become the master of is the way he’s able to flesh out samples to their utmost limits to create lively tracks that come alive unlike any other producer is capable of doing!
Choose any track on this album and you’ll find your new favourite sample addition! Each instrumental feels cinematic and unique to their own.

If I had to highlight my three favourite tracks on this album it would have to go as followed
The first -Drop The Ball I love this lavish instrumental that starts off with those lush strings that evolve into a plucked series of chords that stay in the forefront of the track that is later followed by what sounds like some background violin chords and some subtle vocal melodies that give us a sample of what’s to come!

There’s tracks like -Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis which has one of my favourite vocal samples across the album which features a few key different elements of the song that makes it feel more alive and compelling as an executed sample!
This is accompanied by some glistening keys, sharp horns and a groovy drum pattern that all come together to sound like a 1970’s infused Soul track that you feel in your whole body!

On the final track -How I Feel we get what could easily be considered the most mellow track on the whole album. This one has layers of beautifully orchestrated piano keys that make you feel comfortable in your soul! Combined with some light bass strings and extremely subtle jazz-style drum work that all comes together to create an atmosphere and sombre closer to a stacked album!
Not to mention that closing vocal harmony at the last second was the touch of vibrancy the song needed!

When discussing the lyrical aspect of the album of course that means we talk -Nick Bruno a man I hadn’t heard of prior to this but I can safely say he’s going to remain on my radar as a result!

For starters I like his flow on the tracks, he has this upfront, direct and personal tack on the way he raps like he’s trying to teach the audience something whether that be stories about his life or consequences of certain situations or just teaching us the art of rhyming he’s always giving off this ‘

I loved how he seems to pay homage to the 90’s with his lyrical skills and charismatic performances while also keeping himself relevant in the modern era of hip hop. It’s like he’s incorporating the best of both worlds to create the ultimate experience for the culture. His chemistry with the various rappers on this project almost highlight his ability to pair his cadence with that of those other powerhouses! Especially on the cypher style track on -The Members where he maintains his own against 4 other supreme artists!

Easily his most vivid and personal verse was the final. A tribute track to someone who had passed away in his life and spends the entire track speaking of the man. It’s a truly heartfelt way to end the album and I love he decided on that beautiful instrumental to utilise this tribute track!

Nicholas Craven proving once again why he’s one of the most prominent producers in the game right now and Nick giving us a masterclass in lyricism!
