Well, this is a duo I never thought I’d see on one track! Two men who have completely different sounds but both have equally paved their own lane in the underground scene and it seems now they are ready to make the ultimate showcase! So let’s see if this dynamic works!
This is the brand new collaboration album between MC’s -B1 The Architect and -G-Fam Black who bring together production from
-Tali Rodriguez
-B1 The Architect
-CLOAQxDAGGER
-Crack Sizzlack
-Mello Dee
-P-Ro
-DJ Decepta
With the sole ft being from -Le Zeppo! 12 tracks, 33 minutes of straight hip hop savagery!
I’ll say this much. It seems having G-Fam alongside him has made B1 even more ruthless and unlock his sinister brash side to its full points and it’s fucking sweat! (In a twisted way)
As I said above, they are two different MC’s with B1 being a more complex, sharp rapper with loads of charisma and a thinking man’s cadence that forces the listener to ponder on the words he spits!
While G-Fam is Hip Hop’s executioner. He’s always showcasing his new levels of lyrical violence while maintaining that super harsh voice that sounds like the literal definition of ‘menacing’ with each breathe comes a new depth of evil that we didn’t know existed!
So when they come to collect the heads of the culture it’s almost like Frank Castle teaming up with Jason Todd! Sure Jason has his moments and is fully capable of action but under the tutelage of Bruce shows restraint. Now replace Bruce with Frank? All bets are off! Take away any breaks and brace for a massacre of extraordinary proportions!
These two somehow match each others flows and abilities to create a mixture of sounds that by default will excite the listener because we get to hear two contradictory performances that synchronise across the tracks!
I love how B1 will come in with his trademark (I’ll be it a bit more intense version) of well crafted verses and slick talk only to be tumbled down by the gravity of G-Fam’s earthquake voice and stunning lyricism! This is a sonic seesaw sequence that doesn’t leave any second for boredom!
While listening to the production I just had one thing on my mind. ‘Noir’ because that’s the vibe I got from this album! A dark, twisted score filled with thrilling atmosphere and sombre melodies! I can imagine this soundtrack being used in a 1960’s horror film it’s that theatrical in nature.
I mean take tracks like -The Storm Is Coming. That intro alone? Which immediately transports you to a classic black and white episode of Twilight Zone! As the song advances we get those chilling Jazz horns that sound like they have a life of their own! That’s combined with some lively drum patterns, thick bass that all comes together for a sinister instrumental that acts as a sonic teleport to past times!
Hell talking about teleporting. That intro track? The way it starts as if you just stepped out of a UFO! Which later incorporated elements of distorted Jazz drums, this consistent synth screech sound that stays throughout the entire track!
There’s also some delicate piano keys that shimmer throughout the song in an eerie pattern! Another haunting piece of music!
Or -The Aftermath which sounds like it was literally in a torture chamber. The acoustics instrumentation so raw and intimate that it sounds less like music and more like distant sounds from happier places bouncing off walls and making their way into here being distorted in the process!
We have those long and disturbing plucked strings, mysterious horns, absolutely gargantuan drum work with that insane bass work! There’s also those swirling/hypnotic keys that wrap around the track in extraordinary fashion!
Look long story short, this is the live action equivalent of sweet and salty. AKA the best combination ever! Every verse is like a new flavour profile and they do this under some of the most menacing production you’ve heard in 2026 get on it!
