The moment I saw this collaboration I was intrigued. Two men, relatively similar lanes in terms of sounds and dynamic range! But both creating their own distinctive discographies for themselves and now they have come together to create what I know the culture is going LOVE! Let’s go!

On this album we get Bhrama on his most smooth and atmospheric work to date! I’ll be honest I was expecting a harder, boombastic score considering who the rapper is but instead he went the opposite direction to give us a soundtrack that is perfect for putting headphones on and smoking a fat blunt while reminiscing on your best life!

For only 23 minutes this record goes hard, even from the very opening track! We have those mesmerising electric guitar notes that loop around the song in two different pitches! Combine that with some hypnotic bass and a lavish drum pattern that creates an elegant melody to kick the record off with!
There’s also a snippet at the start and end of the track talking about a guy who was the best at what he did! Added some nice texture to the song!

There’s the song -Cochie Killer which has this immersive Jazz vibe that I fucked with heavy! Those methodically paced & lively Jazz horns that put you into a state of relaxation with their rhythm!
There are also some light keys in the background, fluently tuned strings and some stripped-back drums that act as more of a skeleton to the track instead of an upfront player on the song!
This type of soothing beat is the exact vibe needed for a man like -Fuego to go off on!

What about tracks such as -House Rules which is used as the finale to the album! Next to ‘Cochie Killer’ I’d say this is the most slick track they have! You’ve got those gorgeous chords that loop around the track making you feel like you just took a tab of acid and is grooving to the rhythmic of life! There’s also the occasional use of what sounds like distant horns piercing its way to the front of track to prove that little bit of extra texture!
Combine that with those heavy drums and this becomes a fever dream of a final track that will leave you remembering this album for months after!

When we discuss the rapping itself we get to K. Burns who I’ve seen so many sides of that he remains and exciting mystery which each release to see what he’s going to present us with next! From his unhinged and savage display in -WAR DOGS to his dark and twisted coming to life WWE themed album of -Big Red Machine to now! He’s always on the hunt for new and refreshing ways to re invent his signature sounds and no we get to see his more ‘laid back, sensual’ side and we are all Better off for it!

On this album, he’s cool, calm and collected. Maintaining his signature methodical pace laced with his vivid lyrical imagery and impactful performance! He might rap slow but he don’t gotta move for anyone! He keeps everyone the audience and the artists alike in their set while he raps his shit.
Depending on the track he could be talking his detailed street talk that is so descriptive it masks you feel like your in the hood with him side by side!
Or on more explicit in nature tracks where his prime focus is to get himself some primal pleasures! Either way he adjusts his lyricism and vibe according to the subject at hand and he knows how to work the various beats provided and what version of him they need!

Sharp enunciations, steady flows, conceptual vocabulary and the swagger to match! The three features he brought on this album helped maintain the overall tone of the record while highlighting their own strengths and unique qualities on the mic! Each different than the last and all crafted fantastic chemistry with K. Burns himself!
