Man, what a 2026 this man has had. He’s one of the culture’s most interesting and critical thinkers which only adds weight to his ever growing legacy in the new year. Now I’m not a man who normally loves albums with this many producers but fuck I’d be lying if I didn’t say this was the exception! Because the music on here feels cinematic in it’s absolute definition!
The music itself feels like an expansion of Geebs chaotic mind. We have so many different lanes, influences and directions that you never know what to expect next and that type of anticipation adds so much strength to an already stacked record!
You’ve got tracks like -Who Is Who which is a fantastically introspective track that discusses all the different gods and saviours and talking about how all their stories sound the same as he ends with ‘I’m trying to figure out who the fuck is who’ genius wordplay.
I also love how inbetween the bars we have what sounds like a scholar describing various different religious stories and mythology events and as someone who is a history buff hearing this woven into a track scratches an itch I haven’t heard any other song hit!
The actual instrumental itself has this light & skeletal structure to it that I adored. From that high pitched vocal loop, shimmering keys, distorted chord progression and heavy drums!
Man, the song -Nova Caesarea had me smiling from that unexpected Family Guy intro. This might be the first Hip-Hop track I’ve heard utilising Family Guy! As the song evolves we get this distorted Tyler The Creator ‘Bastard/Goblin’ type vocals that sound like his alter ego part. Again the creative mind of Geebs at work as he combines two elements that no one has ever thought of and fuse to create an undeniable track on the album!
In fact speaking of creativity and originality we have the song -Dyad! He found a way to both use the popularity of Super Hero franchise in the mainstream AND discredit the comics at the same time saying lines like ‘Marvel is Flopping, DC is Flopping/Bitch ain’t no hero’s and villains we all getting it popping. Or an alternate ending to that bar
:Ain’t no good or no evil, we all dealing with problems.
The beat on this thing is just as bleak as the current over saturation of the superhero content! We have those sickeningly heave bass, eerie piano keys, methodically charged drums and this truly haunting vocal loop that makes the hairs on the neck stand up!
Look at the review I’ve already written so far and see just how many ideas we’ve already discussed that is coming ALL FROM THE SAME ALBUM! This ain’t me cherry picking songs from his greatest hits, this is all the same fucking album and it’s this lyrically versatile!
Probably my favourite track (lyrically) on this album is -Talking 2 God! He went all out on this! I’m a history buff but I’m an equally heavy conspiracy theorist and this opening verse I had on replay more then any other on this album. He’s out here firing shots at everyone from
-Bill Gates being evil
-Oprah killing kids
-Sandra Bullock using baby foreskin on her skin! (WITH RECEIPTS OF THE AUDIO RECORDING OF SAID INTERVIEW) bro this verse gave me goosebumps and the biggest smile ever! To hear him go off like that was incredible!
The rest of the track is dope as well but that part specifically got me!
The beat itself is smooth with a Jazz atmosphere to it with those lively horns, plucked bass strings and those light and delicate keys with some subtle drums to match! This one is so mellow and angelic that you can’t help but move your head to the rhythms!
One thing that’s interesting to me is based on the concept of this album ‘Everyone Wanna Go To Heaven, But Nobody Wants To Die’ is a sentiment I couldn’t relate to since I’ve never had a fear of death itself only the pain it would take to get there but let me tell you if there ever was a reason I’d be happy to stay alive it’s today to hear this album and the grand nature of it all! Geebs is one of the most improved artists I’ve heard in the last few years and if he’s this good now? Can’t even imagine the heights he’ll reach by 2030! Probably GOD STATUS!
