This MC has changed the way I view & listen to rap. Since 2025 to now he’s been dropping the dopest music and especially his 2026 album ‘GRHYME’ which I consider one of my ‘AOTY’ list records and now he’s back teasing a new project with a producer who is iconic to say the least! So let’s talk about it!

This is the brand new single by MC -Chubs & Producer -C-Lance with the feature of
-ILL BILL
-Lord Goat
And you can tell immediately that this one was gonna be the definition of a trademark BANGER in every sense of the word.

If we start with the rapping side first, because this trio is like the 1996 Chicago Bulls monster Trio! This song starts off with the underground legend ILL BILL as he sets the tone of the track. His gritty delivery combined with his iconic lyricism and defining voice comes together to create a short yet powerful opener that leaves the audience in shambles before the chorus starts! (Which is done by Chubs)

Speaking of, he’s the next in line helping to define the middle of the song and he’s another MC whose notorious for his immaculate flow, smart wordplay that ties street talk and grime together into one unholy fusion that’s laced with a brash charisma and a burly voice that captivates everyone listening like an unstoppable force! Truly a one of a kind and what he does!

And then we close off with the legendary -Lord Goat! Who takes over the final verse slot with his destructive penmanship that causes a brief yet violent eruption of explosive bars, guttural octaves and maximum level intensity in his 30 second performance! Fuck beating a dead horse, he was picking at it’s meatless carcass when it was all said and done! The very definition of OVERKILL!

Now onto the production side of things we have C-Lance! In fact I’ve been in contact with this man since 2021! Way before I launched this website and back when I was doing Facebook reviews and shit! He gave me the time of day when I was an up-and-coming reviewer trying to break through and he’ll always have my respect for that!
And as I knew him for then as I do now he’s a monster with the beats as this one might be his most powerful yet!
Taking it back to the roots of trademark Boom Bap and it’s most raw and purest form!

We’ve got elements such as those echoing keys that loop around in that cerebral formation that helps amplify the other instrumentation layers such as those hypnotic drum patterns that force you to mean mug the track!
There’s also some thick bass and what sounds like a screeching violin string that comes on the occasional appearance for one second!
I do love how the song starts with that theatrical news reading that sets the tone for the song!

Everyone on this track played their part to the tee! The deadly trio of rappers and the immersion of the producer. If this is the sign of things to come then we are in for another ‘AOTY’ contender!
