This is an artist who has always surprised me with his work. Mainly because he’s not predictable! Each release has the potential to showcase something new and original that I have yet to see and that’s what makes covering this man so exciting! With that in mind we get to take a look at a single that has an intriguing name and producer to go along with it! So let’s talk about it!
This is the latest single by MC -Seth Narley and Producer -CALL ME TWO as they come together to drop this brisk 2 minutes and 04 seconds of tranquil atmosphere that had my senses going all over the place and here’s why!
Firstly let’s talk that sweet production! This might be the most beautifully executed vocal loop I’ve heard in 2026. It’s a mixture of classical and minimal in an unbelievable sense of ambient harmony that was absolutely sensational! The kind of sample I could listen to for hours and never get sick of it!
This sample is utilised alongside some methodical drums, shimmering keys and some plucked bass strings and it ends with some woman speaking about her first plane ride to Los Angeles! Sometimes the more subtle approach is best in instrumentals and this one is proof! It’s luscious and stripped back with enough breathing room to let the listener actually enjoy the various layers instead of being distracted by an overload of sounds and sensory input! So in that regard I fuck with this beat heavily!
As we dissect the performance side of things we get into Seth’s trademark smooth and clean delivery that combines his slick enunciations with his natural charisma to create this lively bar fest that blends with the instrumental to create this experience that feels luxury in it’s presentation! How he says things such as -I wrote this with my feet in the sand and him describing the food he ate, the places he went and how he felt. It’s as if he’s just documenting to the listeners his thoughts, his life and aspirations and doing so in rhyming Hip-Hop language and it sounds dope as fuck!
From the sharp and vivid wordplay to the confident aesthetics of his studio cadence Seth really has a way to bring it all together in a way that makes the song equally compelling and powerful!
This is definitely a track you don’t want to sleep on from that hypnotic production to the larger-than-life lyricism it all comes together in phenomenal fashion!
