Well, this is a collaboration I wasn’t expecting. Two of my favourite artists coming together under one banner coming from two different sides of the road! Both stand up men who I have great respect for and so with that being said it’s time to talk what already based on name value I knew would be a banger!

This is the brand new album by MC -Audio Messiah & Producer -KHEYZINE this one has features from
-PEN LORDZ (Arsinel & Fam Ross) who are a packaged deal at this point and with only 6 tracks they don’t have the time to fuck around!

I swear everytime I hear Audio talk it ends up feeling spiritual. I mean don’t get it twisted to a certain extent all -PenLordz do but I always knew Audio was different in his energy and studio composition! He always reminds me of a Martin Luther King type rapper.
He has this mature, formal and powerful spoken word presence about it that I can never get over. I can safely say no other rapper has that as strong as he does and this album only further highlights those qualities to a greater extent!

While Arsinel and Fam sound like proper dominant rappers, Audio exhibits brilliance in his confident subtlety. Feeling more like a protest preacher who just happens to rhyme, or someone kin to Muhammad Ali in his phenomenal use of words, rhyming puns, slick patterns and an undeniable conviction! He has all that and more in spades!

I gotta say I do love the track -A.I (Allah’s Intelligence) again we hear Audio speak his truth and his values and what he believes is wrong with society today plus it’s essentially a fuck you to the takeover of A.I (which I can respect) definitely a dope track!

When discussing the production we talk about a man who I’ve seen all sides of (and then some) I’ve heard him utilise each and every aspect and influence and on this album we hear him back on his most minimal, stripped back, gritty and above all else ‘definitive’
From the track -A.I (Allah’s Intelligence) where we hear those methodically charged piano keys that have a sense of haunting presence to them. Combined with plucked bass strings and some soft jazz style drum work! The perfect atmosphere for this powerful topic!

What about the track -Rage Against The Machines that has this dystopian feel to it with those distant looping keys in that higher pitch that’s aligned with those free lance drum patterns and more thick bass lines!
There’s also a short stint of synth chords that appear and re appear as quick as it leaves for some extra layer of texture!

The song -Body Problem has this real interesting sound to it. The first thing your hit with are those screeching synth chords that make you feel like your in a 1980’s thriller film! This song also contains some ridiculously low and trembling bass chords with some late introduction powerhouse drums that really make up that ‘Terminator/Lethal Weapon’ type score that we all grew up with and love!

Look, for those that know ball this one should be a no brainer to tune into! Audio Messiah is easily one of the strongest and unique lyricists in the game right now with -PenLordz by his side! Pair that with the incredible production by -KHEYZINE and you have a recipe for one powerful listening experience!
