We have yet ANOTHER artist under the ‘Rulerz Inc’ as they continue to build an empire in the underground that is becoming impossible to ignore! It’s time to lock in and see what this one is all about!

This is the brand new single by MC -Roc City Gunnah and Producer -Self Taught Now, right off the bat the beat threw me for a loop because I heard those opening repetitive vocal lines and mentally prepared for a stripped back ‘WSG’ type instrumental but in fact I was wrong. The song quickly evolved into this gritty boom Bap production that showcases a combination of sharp piano keys that feel lethal in their executions and deep as fuck in tone which features this menacing swift tone swift for a few seconds every 20-25 seconds that forces the listener to mean mug the track!
We have some thick bass associated with the track as well as some ruthless drum patterns that help create an intense atmosphere to the song!

When discussing the lyricism side of things it’s important to remember this is a 5+ minute track and not a boring segment in sight. He’s able to hold the audiences attention the entire duration and that’s the real story to tell here because not many could do that and for a first time impression that says a lot!
He’s got this gritty, deep toned voice that suits that boom bap atmosphere perfectly! No features to worry about ruining the vibe just him and his extensive collection of lyrics, fluent flow, slick wordplay and a natural charisma that bleeds into the track!

He tells a combination of compelling stories, harrowing tales of consequences, brash trash talk and self-serving rhetoric that make him remind us that he’s the man to beat! Being able to sustain a track this this long and not skip a beat is rare and yet he pulls it off!

This is definitely not a song or man to sleep on! It’s powerfully portrayed and one I’m sure the Hip-Hop culture (old and new) will appreciate! TUNE IN!
