I thought I’d hit the jackpot with the single featuring -Max Caster and now we have Lio Rush? I’m screaming on the inside as a wrestling stan! Two of my favourite blends coming together in such an explosive fashion and I get to be picked to cover it, truly blessed and with that in mind let’s talk about it!
This is the brand new bombshell single by MC -Teek Hall, Producer -SOS Beatz and special guest the one and only -Lio Rush and this trio comes in strong with a moody, eccentric performance that will leave you craving for more!
Firstly I love the haunting almost horrorcore vibe this track has! You’ve got things like those sharp violin strings with what sounds like a super high pitched vocal snippet consistently looping around the song as well as some thick organ key notes with some 808 type drum patterns!
I feel like they chose the right kind of instrumental for the vibe of the two MC’s! This one feels intense and gritty as well as feeling majestic and powerful.
This beat kind of reminds me of something you’d hear in the late 2000’s! Kind of reminds me of something -Tech N9Ne or -Twisted Insane would go off on! When your dealing with two MC’s the likes of these two it only makes sense to have a compelling instrumental such as this so shoutout to SOS for the dope as beat!
On the other side we have of course the rapping. On this track we have Teek Hall kicking things off, setting the pace for the record! He’s always came packed with this focused, driven and passionate performance that gives straight ‘main event’ energy!
It’s insane to me that he can just casually go toe to toe lyrically and atmospherically with the likes of both Max fucking Caster and Lio Rush and act so nonchalant about it!
That proves real professionalism right there and he has it in spades! Once again with his calculated approach, slick flows and intelligent lyricism to match!
Then we have Lio! Going into this I had no idea what to expect since I’ve never heard him rap a day in my life but he was super dope! He starts off a bit slow in the early going but once he takes off it’s fluent as hell! Fast paced delivery, loads of charisma and pin point accuracy on his pronunciations and bar layout across the beat! Obviously must be a student of the game and his verses prove it!
It’s Also fascinating the last 20 seconds or so of the album as we get this accapella style talking to close the record off!
So, if you were a fan of that last single with Caster then I guarantee you’ll be a fan of this one! It’s raw, intricate and entertaining! Check it out!
