OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

It seems like with every new single drop comes a different sound and experience. I swear I’ve gone through five variations already and we are already on the sixth! With this one we are back with another producer I’ve yet to hear from, and with that in mind let’s get into it! This is the latest track by MC -LOZEE and Producer -ASETHIC and together they drop another banging single for the audience at home to enjoy! If we start with the production side of things, we hear a more relaxed, smooth and soothing aesthetic than we are used to from LOZEE! I’m talking that rest your head and relieve your stress type shit! On this one we have this beautifully utilised vocal harmony that feels alive as if there is an uncredited singer in the studio alongside them! That loop was absolutely gorgeous! That is accompanied by some harmonious flute sounds, some elegant chord progressions and some funky drum patterns that bring this all together an instrumental that will lighten up your entire day just by listening to this! I also love how towards the end of the track we hear a batch of glistening piano key melodies to add to the vibe of the track! Smart choice! On the MC side of things (and to compliment the atmospheric production) we have LOZEE who is giving us some of his most elegant, memorable and solid bars to date! It’s truly remarkable what he can do with just a handful of singles. I always try my best to not repeat myself on these reviews but I feel I can confidently say on this track he’s firing on all cylinders with emotion, technique, skill and charisma and it sounds amazing! He not only resinates with the calming approach of the music but puts himself in the forefront of the beat with his trademark focused delivery which includes a combination of fun puns, life lessons, situational awareness and his ever growing vocabulary and sense of rhythm that he adds in every new song dropped! This is definitely a track you’re gonna wanna check out! It’s engaging, vibrant and hitting! A track all hip-hop heads will love!
